The Book Fair, as a meeting place for writers and readers, brings together participants from the fields of literature, publishing, media, scientific, and professional literature.

Its accompanying manifestation called "Days of Laza Kostic" adds a special cultural value to it, hosting award-winning writers, translators, literary critics, and presenting the literary award named after Laza Kostic for the best literary achievement, as well as a publishing venture between two Book Fairs.

In addition, awards will be given for children's literature and the "Zaharije Orfelin" award for the most beautiful book.
