Specializing in a raw hillbilly punk-blues style, Left Lane Cruiser is led by slide guitarist Freddie J. Evans IV. Their music blends North Mississippi hill country blues with garage punk. Formed in 2004 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the band has released albums including Gettin' Down on It (2006), Bring Yo' Ass to the Table (2008), Painkillers (2012 with James Leg), Dirty Spliff Blues (2015), Claw Machine Wizard (2017), Shake and Bake (2019), and Bayport BBQ Blues (2024). They tour constantly as a duo or trio.
