Pulitzer Prize–winning composer and musician Tyshawn Sorey presents a new work commissioned by the Wexner Center for the Arts and inspired by the work of legendary jazz drummer Max Roach. The work will be performed by Sorey’s trio, featuring Columbus native Aaron Diehl on piano and Harish Raghavan on bass, and Jonathan Allen, Victor Caccese, Ian Rosenbaum, and Terry Sweeney of chamber ensemble Sandbox Percussion.
