After two years, the Grašac Variety Festival returns to Petrovaradin Fortress! On May 25, in front of the art studios area, overlooking Mount Fruška Gora, the mountain where this variety is currently experiencing its glorious days in our country, winegrowers, wine lovers, journalists, and all Grašac wine enthusiasts will gather.

The first Grašac Variety Festival was held here, and later gained the nickname 'Grašac on the water', remembered for the excellent wine party held during a real flood. The third edition of the festival returns to this incredible baroque space to offer wine lovers a good time, the opportunity for Instagram-worthy moments in an unrealistically beautiful ambiance, and wine tasting of a variety that is of immeasurable importance to Vojvodina, Serbia, and the entire Central Europe region. From the 'ugly duckling' of our winemaking, grapes that were used to make wines for spritzers, Grašac has evolved to produce wines that win top awards at world competitions.

More than thirty wineries from Serbia and guest countries will present wines in a wide range of styles from 5pm to 10pm. There will be perfect Grašac wines for spring and summer days, crisp, fresh, and invigorating, then mature, barrel-aged, powerful wines intended for longer aging. The organizers also promise premieres and big stylistic surprises... The question of what Grašac is capable of and where its limits lie still has no answers and will not be answered soon, but the Grašac Variety Festival is the right place to determine how far Grašac has come in all its expressions and the current trajectory of its ascent to the greatest wine heights.

As always, good music is a given, both live and mixed by top DJs, accompanied by delicious bites to complement the Grašac wines.
