About the Artist

Desanka Petrov Morar was born in Sefkerin in 1946. She has been painting since 1963, exhibiting her works since 1964. From the very beginning of her creative career, she received great support from Oto Bihaly Merina, who helped her achieve wide recognition of her art in Jagodina, Uždin, and Kovačica—centers of naive painting.
