The exhibition marks the 150th anniversary of Ernest Bošnjak's birth, pioneer of Yugoslav cinematography. Born in Sombor on January 1, 1876, he was the first Yugoslav cameraman, director, and producer. Studied printing in Sombor, Buda, Pest, Szeged, and Szabadka. Returned to Sombor in 1906, founded printing office and engraving workshop. Brought a cinema projector to Sombor, opened a cinema. In 1909, filmed the first feature depicting girls playing in Sombor park near the County building. Received state pension for film contributions. Passed away in Sombor in 1963.
