Canadian recording artists Wild Honey and Tony Stevens perform live for a Stampede City Sessions Broadcast Taping on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Webber Academy Performing Arts Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Tony Stevens continues to break barriers and redefine the country music landscape. Wild Honey - The female trio of Jessica Niedermayer, Laura Cain, and Shelby Knudsen make up the band Wild Honey. For over a decade, these Kootenay singer/songwriters have been playing roots music inspired by their mountain home. They were annual guests of Barney Bentall and the Cariboo Express for nine years. Wild Honey released their first album, Distant Skies, in 2019 and followed it with Let’s Be Cowboys in 2022. Their newest EP, Coming Home, was produced by Barney Bentall, and Barney –Jessica’s dad—also plays and sings on the album. Released in May of 2025, Coming Home includes songs inspired by memories and people that have greatly impacted who the three women are today. They’re thrilled to be coming to Calgary in the spring for Stampede City Sessions, and they’ll be joined by some special friends, including Barney Bentall and Geoff Hilhorst of the Deep Dark Woods.
