Description

This 40-hour entry-level certification teaches technical, facilitation, and safety management skills required to lead low and high ropes programs under supervision of a Level Two practitioner. Includes spotted low elements, dynamic belay with participatory belay, climbing wall, lanyard static belay, and instructor access. Objectives: develop skills for high ropes operations including belaying, knot tying, setup/takedown, equipment use; explore adventure learning theories for program leadership; practice safe operations and leadership of elements; improve participant involvement. Successful completion, practical assessment, and written test lead to Challenge Course Practitioner Level One certification. ACCT accredited. Participants must be 18+ by course end. Meals from lunch day 1 to lunch last day and four nights accommodation included.
