Chicago VHS all-stars Joe Pickett (Found Footage Festival) and Scott Miller (Strange Tapes Zine) return with a special scare-edition of their favorite VHS oddities. This month’s program features abridged (and trust us, mercifully so) versions of two ultra-rare, shot-on-VHS features that have never been screened theatrically.

First up: Evil Spirits in the House (1990), a homemade horror tale shot in small town Florida about a father and daughter on the run who seek shelter in — you guessed it — a house full of evil spirits. Then: Dark Currents (1993), a made-for-public-access feature from small town Maine so heavily influenced by Twin Peaks that it uses the soundtrack.

Between features, Joe and Scott will unspool a hand-picked selection of their spookiest short-form VHS finds — the kind of grainy nightmares you won't see anywhere else.
