Joe Bouchard is a founding member of Blue Öyster Cult, contributing bass, piano, keyboards, and guitar on 14 albums for Columbia Records. He co-wrote classics like "Astronomy" (covered by Metallica), "Hot Rails to Hell," and contributed to hits "Don't Fear the Reaper," "Godzilla," and "Burnin' for You." After leaving BÖC in 1986, he earned a master's in music composition, authored educational books like "Rock Guitar for Beginners," and released solo albums including "Jukebox in My Head," "Strange Legends," and "American Rocker." He performs with Blue Coupe (featuring brother Albert Bouchard and Dennis Dunaway), the Bouchard Brothers (with Joan Levy Hepburn), and collaborates on projects like a progressive rock album with Billy Sherwood of Yes.
