Celebrate Nu Deco Ensemble’s return to the Arsht, featuring Grammy Award winner PJ Morton and friends in a powerful evening of music, community and soul. Guest performers include singers Darrel Walls and Susan Carol and trumpeter Keyon Harrold, part of a Grammy-decorated lineup that spans soul, gospel and jazz. The orchestra will honor the 50th anniversary of Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life with the world premiere of a symphonic suite, and welcome composer and pianist Courtney Bryan for the performance of her vibrant piano concerto House of Pianos. Featuring a brand-new Nu Deco work, this performance offers a joyful close to the year—and a celebration of musical kinship.
