Tumbao Social are back at The Night Cat!

Melbourne-based Salsa & Latin Jazz orchestra TUMBAO SOCIAL, a robust, charismatic 11-piece ensemble with an atypical horn lineup alongside the classic salsa rhythm section was conceived with several ambitious goals in mind. To create world-class music, to pay homage to the elegant Latin dance & salsa Romantica orchestras of the 80’s and 90’s, and to bestow swingin’ rhythmic bliss upon the public.

With a unique yet authentic sound, TUMBAO SOCIAL brings you some of the finest dance floor classics from artists & bands such as Willie Rosario, Roberto Roena, The Spanish Harlem Orchestra and more; however, the creative powerhouse of musicians assembled allows for some respectable home-grown content to ease into the repertoire.
