On Friday, April 4, entry will be free for visitors accompanied by their pets.

On Saturday, April 5, from 12 to 4 p.m., there will be a cat adoption event at the museum, and entry will be free.

On Sunday, April 6, there will be workshops for making pet houses (for cats, birds, as well as shelters for insects) in two sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to take the houses with them. Participants in the workshop will also enjoy a lecture on the importance of the ecosystem by Dr. Maja Raković and Andrea Novaković from the Institute of Biological Research "Siniša Stanković". Due to limited space, participation in the workshops requires registration via email: [email protected].

In addition to the listed programs, a dog adoption event will also take place on Sunday, April 6, from 12 to 4 p.m., and entry will be free for visitors accompanied by their pets.

The adoption of stray animals at the Museum of Science and Technology is done in collaboration with the Public Utility Company Veterina Belgrade. One of the partners, the company Lidl, has provided food, treats, and litter for the animals that will find their new owners at the Museum of Science and Technology that day.

World Stray Animals Day is celebrated on April 4 at the initiative of Dutch activists, with the aim of raising awareness about the problem of stray animals, which often become victims of abuse and violence and are susceptible to various dangerous diseases when left alone on the streets.

The intention of the Museum of Science and Technology, along with its partners during this three-day event, is to contribute to alleviating these problems and emphasize the importance of responsible behavior towards stray and owned animals. If you are able, help, adopt a pet, make a friend, and receive unconditional love.
