Freddy Jones Band — Official 2026 Bio Real Music. Real Energy. Real Connection. (And for the record, there’s no one in the band named Freddy Jones.) The Freddy Jones Band continues to embody the unmistakable sound that has made them one of the most enduring names in American rock. Known for their infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and unmatched live energy, the band remains a powerful presence on stage and in the studio. At the heart of the group is founding member Marty Lloyd—the voice and songwriter behind their signature hit “In a Daydream,” which reached #1 on AAA radio and #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. He is joined by longtime bassist Rich Ross (also known for his years touring with The Samples), the electrifying Rockwell Jacobs on guitar, and powerhouse drummer Jeremy Colson (Steve Vai). Together, they create the vibrant chemistry and authenticity that have defined the band for more than three decades. In 2026, the Freddy Jones Band continues to build on their legacy with the release of their brand-new single “No Money in Vegas,” produced by Grammy Award-winner JJ Blair (Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart). Recorded in the Hollywood Hills, the track blends the band’s classic Americana-meets-rock sound with modern production and soulful grit. This year’s tour will feature the majority of the band’s most beloved hits from the 1990s— including “In a Daydream,” “Take the Time,” “Waitress,” and “Hold on to Midnight.” Fans can also expect a handful of powerful new songs that showcase the band’s continued evolution and creative resurgence. Now operating fully independently, the Freddy Jones Band writes, records, and tours entirely on their own terms—remaining true to their roots while always pushing forward. Their commitment to authenticity, musical excellence, and real connection with fans keeps them as vital and relevant as ever. Over the years, the band has shared stages with Big Head Todd & The Monsters, The Wallflowers, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Sheryl Crow, Sister Hazel, Train, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among many others. Their passionate performances and genuine songwriting continue to resonate deeply with audiences across the country.
