The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival was started in 1955 to raise funds to build a Youth Center. It has been held every year since by the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Committee and is one of Maryland’s largest all-volunteer organized events.

2024 was the 70th year of the Festival. It took place Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2 in historic Roosevelt Center, 101 Centerway in Greenbelt, MD.
