About the Show

Joseph Stein's musical "Fiddler on the Roof" was created based on the story by Sholem Aleichem, "Tevye the Milkman." The story is set in a fictional Jewish village in Tsarist Russia at the beginning of the 20th century and tells of Jewish tradition in a thrilling yet poignant way.
