Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall (Arts) – Van Wezel’s Family Literacy Night promotes literacy and family engagement through arts-integrated activities inspired by Van Wezel Schooltime performances. Families will enjoy free dinner together before embarking on a fun-filled evening of live music, dancing, and hands-on arts-integrated activities that look at learning through an arts lens. This evening will feature Latin Grammy Award winner and published author MISTER G and will inspire families to learn together! This event will reflect on the Van Wezel schooltime performance of Señorita Mariposa, a beautiful story about butterfly migration and all the wonderful things that we have in common with each other. Every family will receive a copy of MISTER G’s book! Registration through the school is required.
