Formed in London 1969 by four African and three Caribbean musicians, Osibisa are founding architects of Afro-rock. First Black band at Marquee Club 1971, UK chart hits 1976, influential in world music. Fusion of African rhythms, Caribbean grooves, funk, jazz, rock, Latin, highlife.
