The museum space from the late 19th century recreates the ambiance of the Parisian Hotel Ric, where the heroine of our drama lived and died. The spectator in this space is not just an observer but experiences Coco Chanel's intimate world as an active participant. Two actresses bring to life the childhood, loves, struggles, longings, and aspirations of the complex personality that Chanel was. The character of Coco Chanel is presented as dual: just like the logo of her brand is composed of one regular and one inverted Latin letter C that intersect. The backbone of this drama is the confrontation of man with himself, with the past, truth, and lies, with what we think is true, facing endless loneliness and lost love. During times of great global upheaval, wars, revolutions, struggles for social equality, Chanel liberated women from corsets, shortened dresses, and high heels – so that women could work and decide their own fate. This play is about loneliness and the eternal quest for love.
