With a long-standing presence in the music scene, Tomanović (Ljubinko Tomanović - Bale) began his career in the band October 1864, where he played from 1988 until the group disbanded. In 1992, he became a member of the band Braća Left, and in 1999 he joined the group Prljavi inspektor Blaža i Kljunovi, of which he was an active member until 2022. In 2023, he dedicated himself to his solo music project, the album "Rukama", which was released in 2024 by the record label Menart Serbia. The album features 6+2 songs that intertwine unique guitar riffs, 'spacey keyboards,' and lyrics that delve into introspection and the life of a modern man. Branimir - Bane Lokner, a well-known rock critic and expert in the local scene, has rated this release as one of the most important of the year, and as an album that will surely leave its mark on the local and ex-Yugoslav discography. The first singles and music videos from the album were released for the songs "Dodji" and "Da li sanjaš", which features Tomanović's long-time collaborator Aleksandar Karadžić - Arigo Saki as a special guest. The music videos were directed by Vojkan Milosavljević, Aleksandar Obradinović was the cinematographer, and the photography was done by Ivana Tomanović. In addition to Aleksandar Karadžić, the album recording also involved Tanja Milošević (cello), Luka Jelisavčić (drums), Boris Eftovski (keyboards), Miloš Bilanović (programming), and Vasilije Tomanović (guitar). The album's CD cover photos were taken by Katarina Tomanović, with design and preparation by Andrijana Jokić. The concert for the promotion of the album "Rukama" will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the club Anti Shop Elektropionir at Cetinjska 15 in Belgrade. Alongside Aleksandar Karadžić and Vasilije Tomanović as members of the accompanying band, Luna Škopelja (keyboards), Luka Jelisavčić (drums), and Robert M00d (guitars) will also perform at the concert. In addition to all the songs from the album, the concert will include renditions of several cover songs from Tomanović's time with Braća Left, as well as songs by authors who particularly inspired him throughout his musical career. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at all Ticket Vision outlets and online at TICKETS.RS.
