Digital Humanities is an interdisciplinary field that uses computational methods to explore issues in history, cultural studies, economics, political science, etc. In this workshop, Thiago Oliveira from the Center for Digital Text Scholarship (DigiTS) will provide an introduction to computational linguistics, machine learning and network analysis, showing how these methods can be used to answer questions in diverse fields within the humanities.
