Downtown San Jose is about to make history. After 35 seasons, Music in the Park is closing out 2025 with a finale unlike anything the city has ever seen.

On September 21, Plaza de César Chávez will come alive with a lineup that’s nothing short of legendary:

La Russell — Vallejo’s rising star, who electrified the Outside Lands main stage this summer, is celebrated for his independent hustle and authentic lyricism, and is changing the music business.

Souls of Mischief — Oakland’s hip-hop pioneers, forever linked to the iconic “93 ’til Infinity.” Their legacy continues to shape Bay Area sound and global hip-hop culture.

Ruby Ibarra — NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest winner, Ruby blends sharp rhymes and Filipino pride into music that’s as empowering as it is galvanizing.

Kung Fu Vampire — A San Jose original who’s carved out a cult following with his gothic, theatrical hip-hop in his Music in the Park debut.

DJ KenZo — A party-starter behind the turntables who keeps crowds moving and energy high.

Misa James — A soulful presence with a voice that bridges R&B and pop.

Young Hoff — A lyrical talent with raw storytelling in each track.

Amen & Scooby Valdez — Known for their versatility and charismatic performances, this team shifts effortlessly between smooth melodies and hard-hitting flows.
