Mathieu Grégoire presents a solo project “Mathieu Grégoire Chante Fiori-Séguin & Cie”, a refined musical fusion that revives the flame of Quebec folk and progressive rock. With three decades of stage experience, he offers an immersive musical journey through classics by Fiori-Séguin, Gilles Valiquette, Claude Dubois, Harmonium, and other legends of francophone song. Featuring his warm voice, expressive guitar playing, and unique sensitivity, he pays homage to Quebec music giants while infusing his own artistic signature. Accompanied by talented musicians—a percussionist, double bassist, and multi-instrumentalist on winds—he creates rich, nuanced arrangements blending the warmth of acoustic guitar, the elegance of wind instruments, and the depth of double bass. In this ambitious project, he reinterprets these classics, breathing new life into them while preserving their poetic and emotional essence.
