This Sunday, we will watch and discuss the sensational "Bougonia" (2025), a tragicomic farce by Yorgos Lanthimos. Teddy, a worker obsessed with conspiracy theories, and his cousin kidnap the head of a large company because they believe she is an alien who wants to destroy life on Earth. They lock the woman in the basement and demand that she write a message to the Andromedian emperor. The film mocks conspiracy theorists and their opponents, and, in general, seems to mock everyone. And its ending spares no one. The film stars Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone, who agreed to shave her head for the role.
