THE SPANISH WAVE PRESENT THE SIX ARTISTS TO PERFORM AT SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST 2026
The Spanish Wave returns for the fourth time to one of the longest- running music industry festivals in the world, SXSW (South By Southwest), from March 12th to 18th 2026.
The Spanish Wave presents in Austin, Texas, in a showcase & Fiesta six artists united by the Spanish language, GRIMA (España/Alemania), I SEE ORANGE. (México/UK), TIPA TIPO (Perú/Usa), I SEE ORANGE. (México/UK), PANAM (España), SULTANES DEL YONKE (Texas) y THE ANIMEROS (Austin, Texas) strengthening relationships between Spanish-speaking artists.

SHOWCASE & FIESTA
For the fourth consecutive year, 2026 will raise the bar with exciting emerging artists, celebrating its classic "Meet The Spaniards" party as the official reception. This event will allow SXSW delegates and accredited professionals, along with international fans, to meet Spanish artists and industry professionals in person within an authentic Texan atmosphere.
Again, the classic Shangri La, the wonderful East Austin venue with an outdoor stage in its fabulous courtyard with a cocktail bar and food trucks overflowing with authentic Texas atmosphere will host the party and showcases of the artists from 6 pm until midnight on Thursday, March 12
GRIMA (Spain/Germany) , reverby guitars and post-punk energy meet dreamy Spanish vocals in a shoegaze trip.
I SEE ORANGE (México/UK), heavy melodic rock trio that captures the essence of the 90s
TIPA TIPO (Perú/Chicago) fuses the spirit of 70s soft rock and disco with Latin rhythms to create its new version of tropical yacht rock in Spanish
PANAM (España) whose sound fuses 2000s indie, 70s psychedelia, Britpop, dance rock, new funk and organic electronica
SULTANES DEL YONKE (El Paso (Texas), the border ultrasound quintet of drums and accordions with extravagant, colorful and danceable sounds who return this year with The Spanish Wave and will make everyone dance cumbia beats
THE ANIMEROS (Austin, Texas) They create a sound that fuses genres and moves between the lush jungles of Colombia, the palm-lined streets of the 1960s Mexican coast, and the dusty cantinas of West Texas.
This lineup and our spirit of the fiesta strengthens the connection between our cultural roots and America, solidifying the bridge and relationships between Spain, all Hispanic heritage and the great transatlantic talent and industry
