Description

Make the most of your Loud As Hell camping adventure Loud As Hell Festival isn’t just about the music (though it’s gonna be face-melting!). It’s also about the camping experience – a chance to bond with your fellow metalheads under the vast Alberta sky. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your Loud As Hell camping adventure:

Embrace the Metal Family

Community Spirit: Loud As Hell is known as a “metal family reunion.” Strike up conversations with your neighbors, share stories about your favorite bands, and create lasting metal memories.

Respect the Space: It’s going to be loud, but be mindful of noise levels at night. Let your fellow campers get some rest before the next round of headbanging.

Badlands Be Prepared

Weather Warrior: Drumheller experiences hot days and cool nights. Pack layers, sunscreen, and a hat for the sun, and a jacket for the evenings. Don’t forget bug spray!

Camp Kitchen Commando: Prepare for limited food options by packing enough snacks and drinks. You’ll likely be sharing meals with your campsite crew, so consider bringing a portable grill or camp stove.

There are food trucks on site. The festival also has a free pancake brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Dino-Sized Hydration: Don’t underestimate the power of the Alberta sun. Pack plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the festival.
