TOQUE Returns to Moose Jaw. River Street Promotions is thrilled to announce that Homestand ‘24 will be held in Moose Jaw at Ross Wells Park on Saturday, September 7, 2024. For the fourth year, the historic ball park will once again be transformed into Moose Jaw’s biggest concert venue and will feature a diverse roster of icons, heroes and rising stars for music fans of all tastes. Headlining the event is 54-40. These Vancouver based Canadian Music Hall of Famers and Canadian Songwriting Hall of Fame inductees bring a catalogue of radio hits that have been the soundtrack of Canadian summers for over four decades. The return of TOQUE to Moose Jaw will make Homestand ’24 the party of the year. The band features Moose Jaw’s Own, Cory Churko on lead guitar. Multiple CCMA Award and Juno Award winning country duo Doc Walker will deliver their signature harmonies and top ten hits to the Ross Wells Stage. In addition to these iconic acts, Homestand ’24 proudly features three Saskatchewan artists — roots songstress Belle Plaine, Moose Jaw’s own Trick Ryder, and the infectious soul of The Steadies. Says James Murdock of River Street Promotions, “After the unprecedented success of Homestand ’23, we look forward to welcoming these amazing artists to our city as well as shining a light on our homegrown Saskatchewan talent. We are excited to work to pack the park and make this the most successful Homestand yet.” River Street Promotions is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization which uses entertainment to promote wellness in our community through education and awareness. Since its’ inception, Homestand has welcomed such musical luminaries as Corb Lund, Matt Mays, Nice Horse, Chilliwack, Lindi Ortega, and Barney Bentall to Moose Jaw. The annual event has raised over 300,000 dollars to benefit youth well being initiatives in the Prairie South and Holy Trinity school divisions, and to assist with the continued beautification of Ross Wells Park.
