The Doors Rising is a Doors tribute band formed in 2017 by lifelong Doors fans Stuart (vocals) and Martyn (guitar), responding to an ad by founding keyboardist Freddie. The band has featured notable talent including Laurence, Wayne, Carl, Jimmy, Eve, Adrian, Joel, and Adam. Starting gigs in Southport, they built a loyal following and expanded across the northwest. From 2021, the lineup includes Andy Keegan on piano and keyboards, and drummer Carl Rice returning for classic rock and blues.
