Description
The Waco Brothers formed in Chicago in the mid-90s by battle-weary punk musicians seeking to play classic country covers for free beer. Their bar residencies became legendary for sheer volume, speed, and energy. After a deranged SXSW appearance, Rolling Stone called them “Clash meets Cash.” They released ferocious albums and delivered entertaining live gigs that defined the Insurgent Country movement. Every night is still Friday night for the Waco Brothers.
