A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Funeral for My Boobs. Written by Hannah Howie. Directed by Christopher Stuart Wilson. Doors 12pm. Show starts 1pm. Unreserved seating. Co-presented with The Gaiety Ayr, in association with Drive Official. A hilarious autobiographical musical about one woman’s goodbye to her breasts before a life-changing operation. 'Tonight is my girls’ last performance on earth. So, let’s show them a good time, shall we?' You are invited to a funeral like no other, as we gather together with acclaimed performer and singer Hannah Howie for a glorious send-off for her boobs before a double mastectomy. Dress accordingly. No flowers, please. Purvey to follow! Inspired by Howie’s own experience following her BRCA2+ diagnosis, Funeral for My Boobs is an uplifting cabaret-style musical about taking on life-altering news in the best possible way - with songs, humour, pazzazz, and loads of confetti. All tickets include food and drink. Please choose the relevant food option when booking tickets. Gluten-free meat option: Please note that, whilst we take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we operate in a mixed used kitchen that contains gluten and wheat products.
