That's right, after 7 amazing nights we have decided to go a day nighter, over 12 hours we are bringing you 14 incredible bands from all over Australia for what is not only the biggest event we have ever done, but also the most staked line up we have ever brought you!
This time we're not just bringing bands, we're bringing markets, as well as an increased capacity so everyone can bring the family!
Up first in this announcement we have our good mates and all round good sorts Hidden Intent, back for the first show home after a massively successful European & UK tour off of the back of there latest album Terrorform (just quietly one of the best albums to come out this year if you haven't already checked it out you should). If you were lucky enough to get in last time we had them on Metal On Murray you know why there back, with an amazing and fun live show you'll see why these legends are one of the most talked about heavy bands in Australia at the moment.
It simply wouldn't be Metal On Murray without your favourite homies in Those Left Behind bringing the beach balls and party to the place, so of course we've got them back to open up that pit, we hope y'all ready to row a bloody boat.
We've also been fortunate enough to have deathcore beasts from NSW, Arkángel making there first trip across the border to SA. They have just teamed up with Misstiq to drop a massive banger with Haunting My Dreams to back up there amazing self titled release earlier this year. We're stoked to have them joining this massisve day so make sure you check them out and make them feel welcome.
Proving that bears dont die they hibernate, Adelaide Heavy legends Strength Of A Bear are coming out of there cave for the first time since 2013. Over a decade away from the stage has seen these geezers get greyer and angrier. They will be ripping the venue a new one with there ol skool metalcore tunes and years of pent up fury and rage. This isn't just a reunion, it's not just nostalgia, this is a statement, the bear is not dead!
Making there way back to Metal On Murray are our homies in High Ground. They have always been a crowd favourite ever since the first Metal On Murray, so it only seemed fitting we get those legends down for there first show in a hot minute. If you've been lucky enough to previously catch them you know your in for a crushingly heavy & intense show, if ya haven't be ready to slam!
We've been trying to get Adelaides favourite feral girls Witch Spit on Metal On Murray for ages now and we've finally been able to make it happen! With an intense live show and provocative brand of punk thats not to be missed. Loaded with one of the best albums to come this year in the form of Public Execution & a SA Music Peoples Choice nomination (y'all got our bloody vote) these legends take no prisoners and will leave you wanting more!
We couldn't not invite down our favourite Victorians Abreact, and they said hell yes! These guys have not only been one of Australia's best and most crushing hardcore bands for well over a decade, they are also the only band to ever challenge Those Left Behind to a row off last year when they were down for Metal On Murray VI (they went bloody alright ey). Will they do it again? Only one way to find out. If you've ever seen them play before (especially when they party with Those Left Behind) you know shenanigans will be had, if you haven't your in for a treat.
Speaking of shenanigans, we simply had to get our favourite menaces from regional SA down to the party! Suffer The Evenue don't just bring a quality live show, they bring a farkin party everywhere they the go with there nu-metal schwagger! Which is delivered in spades on there new banger An Ounce Of Schwag from there new EP, Vol 3. Superdeadest. So buckle up and be ready for anything to happen, because it probably will!

As always this will be an all ages, family friendly, all inclusive event. Kids 12 and under are free as always. All children under 18 need to be accompanied by a adult/guardian with a valid ticket.
