"Fortress Challenge"

The "Fortress Challenge" takes place at the Petrovaradin Fortress. The 10-kilometer course includes classic OCR obstacles, as well as brand-new challenges tailored to the specific terrain configuration. In addition to the thrilling athletic feat, participants have the opportunity to visit some of the most interesting parts of the fortress, historical locations, trenches, and tunnels.

Part of the course includes the largest counter-mine system from the 18th century and the third-largest underground defense system in the world, the Imperial Rampart. The race continues through the Franz Joseph Tunnel, the Lower Town, the 'Water Town', the Upper Town, past the famous symbol of Novi Sad – the 'Drunken Clock', as well as various tunnels, including one through which the famous 'Orient Express' train passed.
