Monday is the most punk day, so after school/college/work head straight to Okretnica! JUDY AND THE JERKS come from a small town that most likely most Americans have never heard of, Hattiesburg in the state of Mississippi. In just a few years of existence, they have recorded and released several albums, singles, and compilations, mostly in cassette format but also have a few vinyl records. Among all these releases, there are covers of Die Kreuzen, Gorilla Biscuits, Buzzcocks, Negative Approach, Agent Orange, Floorpunch, Go-Go's... so their music can somewhat be described as if you put all the mentioned bands in a blender and added a female vocal on top. On this ten-day tour of the 'old continent,' they are promoting a split LP with Shitty Life, which was just released on Refuse Records. SHITTY LIFE is a power punk band from Parma, in Northern Italy, formed in 2015 and have two albums, 4 singles, and several compilations under their belt. Fast punk/hardcore for fans of sounds like French Youth Avoiders or American Social Circkle. This is their first time playing in Belgrade/Serbia, just like Judy and the Jerks. PERIPETIJA is a newer but probably already familiar to the domestic punk audience, hardcore straight edge crew from Belgrade and Novi Sad. They have recently recorded new material that is currently being mixed, and we hope to see its physical release very soon. Until the release, you can listen to the new songs at the concert. Like all other concerts/events at Okretica, there is no entry fee for this one either. We count on the fact that you have already understood that donations are of great importance and all the money goes to the bands to cover all their travel, equipment, van expenses...
