"The Australian Didgeridoo Workshop" is a unique “hands on” workshop which explores Australian Aboriginal history, art, music and culture with a positive environmental theme. This workshop comprises of four segments: 1. A general introduction to the history and culture of Australia. 2. Instruction about Indigenous art, where by students learn to paint their own didgeridoo (Australian wind instrument). 3. Instruction and live musical performance of the newly created didgeridoos. This Workshop is sponsored by Michigan Arts and Culture Council for George Long Elementary School Students.
