Description
Inspired by Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero with a Thousand Faces,” this explores the monomyth in cultures and Hollywood films. Questions where today’s hero is, amid consumerism. Not all is lost; Minerva’s owl takes flight at dusk. Performance largely with ear and eye masks required for safety and privacy. Suitable from age 15. On stage: Elise Metsanurk, Grete Jürgenson, Ilo-Ann Saarepera, Juhan Soon, Kirill Havanski. Director: Andreas Aadel. Dramaturg: Kaur Riismaa. Set: Kairi Mändla. Composer: Kirill Havanski. Lights: Oskar Harding. Producer: Kersti Niglas. Premiere: February 21, 2026, Tartu Uue Teatri large hall.
