This class will help you to become a better steward of your garden’s ecosystem. Whether your property is a small urban lot or a suburban acre, you can make it a healthy, productive ecosystem that supports a rich diversity of plants, beneficial insects, and animals. Learn how to control invasive plants and replace them with Minnesota native plants. Develop a deeper understanding of the interdependence between the plants in your garden and the insects, birds, and mammals that coexist with them. Discover how to build healthy soil that nourishes your plants with a minimum of synthetic fertilizers and insecticides.
