Born and raised in Kurri Kurri, Kirsty Lee Akers went on to be an acclaimed singer songwriter winning the Telstra Road to Discovery, Toyota Starmaker and two Golden Guitar Awards in Australia and has also performed on major festivals in the USA, Canada and the UK.
