Description

Kedr Livanskiy (also known as Yana Kedrina) is one of the main heroines of the Russian underground, known both inside and widely beyond its borders. Absorbing the immediacy of 1990s pop music, the influences of British rave electronics, and the sincerity of folklore, Yana invented her own musical language. Later it will be called 'lo-fi glam' and 'bedroom pop', and Yana will be recognized as an icon of the genre. Kedr Livanskiy has released five studio albums, including last year's Myrtus Myth. The international success of the artist is confirmed by glowing reviews in Pitchfork and The Guardian, as well as an extensive tour geography: from the Spanish Primavera to the Uzbek Stihia, from European solos to a tour in Japan. The upcoming concert program will include sincere dances to old hits, the postponed premiere of the recent album, and the first signs of the spring thaw.
