From the 30-foot ceiling to the plush custom-designed bar and lounge, Cicada has combined 1920's Art Deco with contemporary design elements to create an extraordinary atmosphere. The European style is further complemented by a sophisticated Northern Italian menu. A very popular film location, three Art Deco chandeliers were installed in 2016 which were designed for the extravagant lobby of the "Hotel Cortez" featured in American Horror Story: Hotel. The sconces from the hallways of the hotel set are now decorating the enormous wooden pillars that are topped with carved Angels representing the city of Los Angeles.
