Konak kneginje Ljubice, one of the few preserved buildings from Prince Miloš Obrenović's first reign, was built in 1830 by Hadži Nikola Živković. Intended as a representative court of the Obrenović dynasty, it served as Prince Mihailo's residence (1839–1842). After 1842, it housed various state institutions. In the 1970s, it was restored and opened as part of the Belgrade City Museum in 1980, featuring the permanent exhibition 'Interiors of 19th-century Belgrade Houses'.
