The European Water Polo Championship 2026 will take place at the Belgrade Arena from January 10th to 25th, 2026. The event is one of the most significant in continental sports. The best European water polo players will compete in the spectacular atmosphere of the Belgrade Arena. Sixteen national teams will vie for the title of European champions in the 37th championship. The tournament will begin with group stages, featuring four groups with four teams each. Serbia, as the host nation, will be in Group C alongside the teams of the Netherlands, Israel, and Spain. Group A will see Malta, France, Montenegro, and Hungary competing, while Group B will include Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, and Georgia. Group D will consist of Turkey, Romania, Italy, and Slovakia.
