Ghost Dance was formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst and Gary Marx. They released singles and an album on Karbon label, toured with The Cult, The Mission, etc., appeared at Reading Rock Festival 1988. Signed with Chrysalis, released Stop the World, radio sessions, European following. Disbanded 1989. Relaunched 2021 with new lineup, performed with Fields of the Nephilim, released The Silent Shout (2023). 2025 relaunch with solidified lineup for UK and international shows.
