Petrovaradin Carnival

Petrovaradin has a history of nurturing the tradition of carnival gatherings and processions, which led to the idea of reviving the Petrovaradin Carnival.

Main Event

The central event of the carnival is the 'Great Carnival Parade,' which will move through the streets of the Suburb of Petrovaradin Fortress:

• Strosmajer Street
• Vladimir Nazor Street
• Belgrade Street
• Lisinski Street
• Prote Mihaljica Street

The parade, with a large number of carnival groups from the country and region participating, starts at 11 o'clock in front of the Church of Saint George and ends in front of the main stage on Prote Mihaljica Street.

Supporting Events

In the days before and after the 'Great Carnival Parade,' a significant number of supporting events will be organized, including:

• exhibitions
• lectures
• workshops for children
