Description
Tribe Friday is the sound of small town desperation colliding with a hunger for something bigger. Formed as a scrappy after-school project, the band evolved through trial, error, and constant reinvention into one of Sweden's most exciting music exports. From the early days of jangly guitars and self-aware charm to the introspective weight of their latest work, the band has consistently pushed forward, anchored by frontman Noah Deutschmann’s melodic instincts and sharp songwriting. Tribe Friday sparked international buzz with their 2019 & 2020 debut EPs, leading to global tours and major TV and radio appearances. Their sophomore record Hemma, an album on trauma, roots and reconciliation, was released in 2023 to international acclaim and followed by high-profile tours with acts like Wheatus and Mother Mother. Now, after a period of much-needed rest, Tribe Friday are returning to where it all began; writing and recording together in a single space for the first time since their early basement-band days. The result is The Band Formerly Known As Tribe Friday, a new EP slated for release in early 2026: a celebration of creative survival, personal growth, and human connection.
