In this performance, composer and performer Miguel Sutedjo reflects on his journey as a Chinese Indonesian in America through jazz piano, musical theater, and song writing. The program—arranged for piano, bass, drums, and three vocalists—offers a vibrant blend of personal storytelling and musical exploration. This event forms part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival. ABOUT Miguel Sutedjo: Miguel Sutedjo is a musical theater writer, music director, and performer.
