Anna Meredith and Colin were in the same wind band at their Edinburgh high school and have always kept in touch. This concert sees their first professional collaboration and harnesses the brazen eccentricity of her Bumps Per Minute: Studies for Dodgems in a whizzingly upbeat new version for Colin’s quartet, a Kings Place commission for Scotland Unwrapped.
