The European Water Polo Championship 2026 for men will be hosted in Belgrade from January 10 to 25, 2026, one of the most significant sports events on the continent. The best European water polo players will compete in the spectacular atmosphere of the Belgrade Arena. Sixteen national teams will vie for the title of European champions in the 37th championship. The tournament will start with a group stage, with four groups each consisting of four teams. Serbia, as the host of the championship, will be in Group C with the selections of the Netherlands, Israel, and Spain. In Group A, Malta, France, Montenegro, and Hungary will compete, while in Group B, Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, and Georgia will fight for further placement. Group D will see Turkey, Romania, Italy, and Slovakia competing. The European Water Polo Championship for men 2026 in Belgrade will be a celebration of sport, a place where new sports history is being written, and an opportunity for Serbia to once again show the world why it is the home of the best water polo players.
