Solovyonok is a children's puppet theater show. Spring arrives, birds sing, but Solovyonok is sad because he cannot sing. He seeks advice from forest animals on how to learn: proper breathing, rhythm, ear for music, playing instruments, and knowing notes to create a beautiful nightingale song. In the performance, children learn singing breathing techniques, meet musical instruments via puppet animals, play in an orchestra, the owl teaches notes and music, and kids help the bunny grow a carrot.
