Description

Join us for a discussion of findings from the recent Charlotte Region Nonprofit Stability Survey, conducted by Charlotte Urban Institute and sponsored by United Way of Greater Charlotte and Foundation For The Carolinas. The survey assesses the economic well-being of the region’s nonprofit sector.

We’ll explore how recent changes in federal administration, executive orders, and resulting public funding cuts have impacted nonprofits, as well as how the broader market has responded. As organizations navigate these challenges, individual donors remain a critical part of a holistic fundraising strategy accounting for approximately 67% of nonprofit funding nationwide.

The session will conclude with a panel of nonprofit leaders sharing practical approaches to individual donor acquisition and retention, and how these efforts align with their overall fundraising strategies. The conversation will be led by Peter Blair, CEO of The Lee Institute.
