Compass Records Group recording artist Pierce Pettis began his career at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Alabama. Since then he’s spent decades performing in 49 of 50 states as well as Canada & Europe. During that time he recorded for Windham Hill in California, was part of the Fast Folk Collective in New York and was a staff songwriter at Polygram and Universal Publishing in Nashville with songs covered by Dion, Art Garfunkel, Garth Brooks and Joan Baez and many others. Pierce’s latest album for Compass, “Father’s Son”, has garnered widespread critical acclaim.
